In Left 4 Dead 2, you can throw items to help your teammates or to damage enemies. Here’s how to do it.
Step 1:
Pick up the item you want to throw. You can do this by pressing the "use" key (E on PC, A on Xbox 360, X on PS3) when you’re near the item.
Step 2:
Aim the item. You can do this by moving the mouse or joystick in the direction you want to throw the item.
Step 3:
Throw the item by pressing the "fire" key (left mouse button on PC, right trigger on Xbox 360, R2 on PS3). The further you hold down the fire key, the harder you’ll throw the item.
