The Parish campaign in Left 4 Dead 2 is set immediately after the events of the original game. The Survivors have made their way to New Orleans in hopes of finding a safe haven, but quickly realize that the city is just as overrun with the Infected as everywhere else.
The campaign culminates in a desperate battle to reach a helicopter on top of a skyscraper. The Survivors are successful, but at the cost of one of their own: Bill sacrifices himself to save the others.
