Don’t let walls stop you. If the only way to save a fellow Survivor is to shoot through a wall or ceiling do it. A hunting rifle is particularly effective at this although any weapon can penetrate walls.
Do you need to play L4D before L4D2?
No L4D2 contains new enemies and new weapons. Playing the original L4D maps is therefore different to playing them in the original game.
Should I buy both left for dead?
Not really. If you like Survival mode you get more levels and the campaigns design is different in Left 4 dead 1 I feel it had better atmosphere and path choices. I would recommend Left 4 dead 2 though over 1. If you get 1 then move to 2 odds are you may be dissapointed in how 2 is even in Left 4 dead 1’s levels.Dec 14 2017
