Left 4 Dead 2 is a first-person shooter video game developed and published by Valve Corporation. It is the sequel to the 2008 game Left 4 Dead. The game was released for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 in November 2009, and for OS X in October 2010.
The game’s story takes place in the immediate aftermath of the events of the first game, with the four survivors – Bill, Francis, Louis, and Zoey – fighting their way through hordes of infected zombies to reach safety. The game features new types of infected zombies, including the Charger, the Spitter, and the Jockey, as well as new weapons and items.
